A garment may leave the L’MANE studio with a clear design point of view, but the way it is worn is never entirely ours to decide.
Once a piece enters a woman's wardrobe, it becomes part of her own visual language.
She may layer it, simplify it, combine it with something unexpected or wear it in a way we never imagined.
That freedom of interpretation is something we value.
DESIGN WITH A POINT OF VIEW
L’MANE pieces are intentionally distinctive.
An asymmetric line, original artwork, an unexpected colour combination or a sculptural detail gives each garment its own character.
But distinctive design does not need to dictate the rest of the wardrobe.
Sometimes the strongest way to wear an expressive piece is alongside something restrained. At other times, different colours, proportions or textures can be brought together to create an entirely different expression.
There is no single formula.
THE SAME PIECE, WORN DIFFERENTLY
One woman may be drawn to the artwork.
Another may notice the construction first.
Someone else may choose the same garment because of the way it moves.
This is why we don't like defining pieces too narrowly by an occasion or prescribing exactly how they should be styled.
The same garment can become something different depending on who is wearing it.
CONTRAST CREATES CHARACTER
Contrast is already part of the L’MANE design language fluid against structured, expressive against restrained, artwork against solid colour.
The same idea can continue beyond the garment.
A printed piece can sit against something minimal. A fluid silhouette can be balanced with structure. An architectural piece can be softened through layering.
The interpretation belongs to the wearer.
