The Making of “Abstract Resilient”: Inspiration Behind the Collection
Intro
At L’MANE, every collection is more than just garments — it is a story of art, individuality, and resilience. For AW25/26, Abstract Resilient was born from the idea that fashion can be both powerful and poetic. This season, bold abstract prints meet architectural pleats, reflecting strength, movement, and the beauty of adapting to change.
The Inspiration
The collection draws from the concept of resilience — how women rise, adapt, and flourish in the face of challenges. The prints echo brushstrokes of abstract art, symbolizing freedom of self-expression, while the pleats add structure, discipline, and elegance.
“Resilience is not rigid — it bends, flows, and transforms, much like the pleats and drapes of our designs.”
Behind the Scenes
The design journey began with hand-drawn sketches inspired by abstract paintings and contemporary art movements. Rich jewel tones and fluid strokes were carefully translated into fabric, creating prints that feel like wearable art. Our fabric sourcing focused on luxurious textures that drape effortlessly, allowing pleats and cuts to move with the wearer.
From Vision to Collection
Each piece underwent a meticulous process — from sketch to prototype to final garment. The asymmetrical cuts reflect individuality, while the prints embody freedom. Together, they tell a story of women who are bold, dynamic, and unapologetically themselves.
